Why did you become a teacher?

I dreamed of being a journalist and a psychologist, but found myself in the teaching profession.

Innovation

In the lessons I use virtual laboratories and the online service Kahoot for testing with smartphones, I often combine biology with chemistry, foreign languages and literature.

I created the socio-ecological project “ECOsphere”: together with students we conduct environmental experiments in the laboratory of the University of Bremen. My students initiated the creation of the “Batteries” project, which deals with the problems of battery disposal.

For 6 years I have been combining pedagogy and my childhood dream: on the channel «ВТВ+» I lead the author’s programme “Strange Garden” about plants and landscape design. I also wrote a textbook on “Ethics and Psychology of Family Life.”

Rule of life

Over the years, I have realized that the task of a teacher is to teach students to use their brains.
