Kateryna dreams of breaking stereotypes about rural schools—and she’s doing it successfully. Despite the school’s proximity to an active war zone, her students receive a high-quality, modern education. They use artificial intelligence and augmented reality, and they excel in a variety of competitions because, as she says, “Children from villages deserve the best”.

Kateryna is also convinced that technology isn’t just for physics and IT teachers. Even in her Ukrainian language classes, she finds innovative ways to incorporate STEM labs. She actively uses a scientific approach, interdisciplinary connections, and learning through action. Her teaching methods have been widely recognized and awarded for their creativity and impact.
